DeepFrost is a new music production and publishing company based in Trondheim, Norway, formed by the producers / writers Jan "Janski" Lindvaag and Thomas J. Heyerdahl. Our rooms have been in operation since 2004. The studio is located in a spacious villa on the hills overlooking the city.
Thomas & Janski have been working together for several years on various projects like producing platinum selling Norwegian act Soda and performing in bands of their own: Di-Mico, signed to Universal and ICE (Thomas) signed to Bonnier. ICE is Norway's best selling dance-act of all time. The smash "Can't Get Over You" spent 8 weeks on #2 on the Norwegian single sales charts.
After having multiple chart successes in their home territory of Norway the guys are ready to pursue new challenges and develop their writer / producer talents at their new studio facility.
DeepFrost’s line of producers has recently been expanded with the addition of Rune Helmersen to the team.
Already they have cuts with profiled international acts Samantha Mumba / Nikki Webster / A* Teens, the lead single with a major new act signed to BMG Sony in Germany, a hold for the US artist Christina Milian (Universal), the song "Friends 4 Ever" being featured on the major TV show Lizzie McGuire.
Their song "One Two Three" released with the multi platinum Dutch sellers Chipz (Universal) is now in it's forth week at #1 (entered at #1) on the Dutch single sales charts, selling over two times as much as the next one on the chart. Chipz have release commitments from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, Scandinavia and Asia in close collaboration with Fox Kids / Jetix.
Recently DeepFrost has expanded their business activity with the establishing of a publishing company entitled DeepFrost Songs (adm. by Universal). The first exclusive signing is local writer Marte Hveem, whom is writing songs in the urban / rnb genre. For their own publishing Thomas is signed worldwide to Universal and Janski to Chrysalis Stockholm.
DeepFrost has delivered a couple of remixes to Stevie Wonder for his new single "So What The Fuss" (Motown / Universal US).
